As per a report by the Times Of India, while talking to BBC Asian Network, Abhishek reacted to Aishwarya being tagged as ‘plastic’.

Abhishek stated how Aishwarya had to receive several mean comments, and people claimed that the actress only has a pretty face and called her ‘very plastic’.

Abhishek Bachchan said that he was not answering as a husband but as an actor and co-star, that someone like Aishwarya, who is meant to be known for her beauty, has done some of the most daring roles.

In Abhishek’s words:

“Actually if you go to see… and now I’m not speaking like a husband, I’m speaking as a co-star and an actor… she happens to have done some of the most daring kind of roles, that an actor, who’s basically meant to have been known only for her beauty, could have done.”

In the same conversation, Abhishek Bachchan shared that his wife, Aishwarya has been least concerned about her looks, and she has always put her focus on her acting skills, which proves her talent beyond her looks. He further praised Aishwarya for her masterclass acting skills in movies like Provoked, Choker Bali, Raincoat, and Guru.
