Virat Kohli slammed on the internet for slow innings against Rajasthan Royals

'Naveen Ul-Haq Destroyed Him' Fans Brutally Troll Virat Kohli For His Low Strike Rate Against Rajasthan Royals

IPL 2023 has been more of explosive knocks than the anchor roles and it sparks a debate whether two batsmen at the same time can play at different paces.

Virat Kohli has scored runs consistently in this season but with low strike rates and the cricket experts are pointing out that the star batsman needs to score more quickly as no totals have been safe to defend this year.

RCB’s former captain was slammed on social media by the fans who called his innings against Rajasthan Royals as a “Test match knock”.

Although his side ended up as the winners, his strike rate was a major concern for the supporters who are yet to watch them win an IPL title.

Both Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli struggled to get going in the batting powerplay at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium and the latter lost his wicket after scoring 18 off 19 balls. However, the skipper smashed a half-century but he took 40 balls to reach the feat.

Kohli had chipped one off in the air after being deceived by the slower ball and Yashasvi Jaiswal completed the catch.

Fans charged at Kohli after his innings against Rajasthan yesterday and some of them said that he has been destroyed by Naveen Ul-Haq.

However, everyone forgets about the instances where he has led team India to win one of the most difficult contests and just to recall, how he had clinched a victory against Pakistan in the T20I World Cup 2022 opener against Pakistan.

Life of a cricketer is always difficult as a couple of bad innings makes people forget all the good knocks that a player has played in the past.
