Big B was seemingly talking about the time the trio performed the song at the 2005 IIFA Awards. Sharing a post featuring him, Aishwarya and Abhishek from the film, Amitabh Bachchan penned:

“The song became so popular that it still regenerates attention and love .. and the best moments with the song, Bhaiyu, were when we performed this live on stage.”

Earlier, during one of the episodes of his quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, Amitabh Bachchan got nostalgic and recalled the song, Kajra Re, from the film, Bunty Aur Babli. It so happened that during the episode, the contestant, Abhishek Garg from Haryana, faced the 12th question for Rs. 12,50,000, which was about Piyush Mishra’s band, Ballimaaraan. Later, the megastar went on to share some insights about Ballimaaraan and revealed that the term was used in his song, Kajra Re, which had him, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan. Recalling the memories, Big B said:

“Usmein hum teeno the tab humari bahu nahi thi ab ban gayi hai, bahu thi Abhishek the aur hum the… uss gaane mein bol the.”

Big B penned:
