Superstar Salman Khan on Sunday paid homage to close friend Baba Siddique at the late NCP leader’s house in Bandra. Siddique, 66, was shot at on Saturday night just outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique’s office. He was taken to the Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead.
Salman, who was accompanied by his bodyguard Shera, was spotted leaving Siddique’s residence in Maqba Heights apartments on Sunday evening.

With Shera and a few police officials by his side, the 58-year-old actor waded through a sea of people to reach a black car from the main gate of the Bandra-based apartments.
Salman was also one of the few film celebrities who rushed to the hospital last night to meet Siddique’s family.
His family members Sohail Khan, Sshura Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and Alvira Agnihotri as well as friend Iulia Vantur were also pictured walking towards Siddique’s residence on Sunday evening.

Salman Khan, who shared a close bond with the late Baba Siddique, has arrived at the politician’s house with his brother Sohail Khan and sister Arpita Khan.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead in Mumbai on Saturday night, will be given a state funeral.
Bollywood icon Salman Khan, who shared a close bond with Siddique, has reached the late politician’s house, ahead of the funeral tonight. Salman appeared visibly emotional as he walked in, accompanied by his brother Sohail Khan and sister Arpita Khan.
Many other Bollywood celebrities, including Pooja Bhatt and Sajid Nadiadwala, were spotted arriving to pay their respects to the three-time MLA and former Maharashtra minister.
In photos that have since gone viral, a heartbroken Salman can be seen arriving at Siddique’s house. Salman’s rumoured partner, Iulia Vantur, and the Bollywood actor’s sister Alvira Agnihotri were also spotted among the many celebrities.
It may be recalled that Siddique had shared a very close bond with the Salim Khan family. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police have confirmed that jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang was involved in the NCP leader’s murder.
Notably, members of the Bishnoi gang had also fired shots at Salman Khan’s residence six months before this incident.
Pooja Bhatt, Sana Khan, Raj Kundra, Zareen Khan and Priya Dutt were also among the mourners who visited Siddique’s home to pay their last respects. Other attendees included Karan Singh Grover and Zaheer Iqbal, who gathered to honour Siddique’s memory.
The attack occurred in Bandra East as he was getting into his car after leaving the office of Siddique’s MLA son, Zeeshan Siddique.
According to the police, the assailants fired six to seven rounds at him. Siddique was rushed to Lilavati Hospital and was pronounced dead during treatment.
According to reports, Siddique had received a threat to his life 15 days ago after which his security was upgraded to Y-level. The assailants, however, managed to carry out the attack despite the heavy security.
Baba Siddique harboured a close bond with many Bollywood celebrities and was known for hosting grand iftar parties attended by A-listers. He was also credited with ending a five-year-long feud between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan at one of these events.
