SRK and Deepika have done many succesful projects together such as Happy New Year and Chennai Express.

The duo delivered 2023’s biggest hit, Pathaan, together and Deepika returms for a special appearance in SRK’s latest blockbuster Jawan too.

While in Jawan, Deepika had a cameo, she left a mark with her chemistry with SRK.

After all these successes at the box office, fans have been referring to Deepika Padukone as SRK’s ‘lucky charm’ and their pairing never goes wrong. The actor has now opened up about her Jawan cameo. When asked in The Week interview whether she charges for doing special appearances, Deepika said, “No, I don’t.

I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands’ glory.

I watched my mother do it.

This was my homage to wives who make sacrifices to support their husbands’ careers. Other than that, any special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan, I am there. Same with Rohit Shetty.” Deepika was seen in cameos in 83 and Cirkus, both of which starred her husband Ranveer Singh.

While both films failed commercially, Jawan has emerged as a blockbuster with over Rs 350 crore in earnnings.

She also opened up about her relationship with Shah Rukh and said that it goes way beyond the ‘luck’ factor.

“We are each other’s lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other,” Deepika shared.

“I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with.

There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top,” she said.

Deepika also expressed her happiness with her film Pathaan doing good business at the box office, but moreover, she is happy that the audience is coming back to the theatres.

Deepika added, “I’ve never been fascinated by numbers whether it was Maths in school or the numbers of Pathaan.

I was just happy that cinemas had come alive again, that people had come alive again. I was really grateful for that.”
