Taking his conversation with Amitabh forward, contestant Swapna told that ‘Yaarana’ is one of his favourite films.

He can watch this film again and again.

Further, he asked the actor how he played so many roles in his career.

Responding to this question of the contestant, Amitabh Bachchan said, “At that time we used to be just in the pursuit of a job that we should get a job somehow.”

After this, the actor said that the idea of shooting ‘Sara Zamana’ in the stadium was also his.

Big B further told that Netaji Subhash Chandra Stadium had just opened in Kolkata and that stadium was also very big, at that time 50 thousand to 60 thousand people had come to watch the shooting.

The situation worsened so much due to the arrival of so many people that he was forced to stop the shooting and returned to Mumbai.

After this, Amitabh also shared the story of his “Bijli Wala Jacket” worn in the song.

He was reminiscing about his iconic song ‘Sara Zamana’ from the movie ‘Yaarana’.
As a contestant, Swapn showed his appreciation for the movie ‘Yaarana’ and revealed that it’s one of his favourites.
He could watch the film over and over again.

He questioned the veteran actor about his ability to play a variety of roles and his career-long exploration of different genres.
Amitabh Bachchan quipped, “Hum toh naukri ke chakkar mein hote hain, bas naukri mil jaye!”
Then, remembering the hit song ‘Sara Zamana’ with fondness, he disclosed that he had suggested the song be recorded at a stadium.
Since the newly opened Netaji Subhas Chandra Stadium back then in Kolkata was so large, they chose to film during the day.
Nonetheless, only 12,000–15,000 people could fit in the seats, but 50,000–60,000 people showed up to see the shot.
They had no choice but to leave after stopping the filming.

Afterwards, Amitabh Bachchan suggested secretly filming at night without generating any publicity.
They quietly returned to Kolkata for the night shoot after spending a few days back in Mumbai, praying that there wouldn’t be any crowds.
The director had the brilliant idea to create the appearance of an audience by setting candles in the chairs.
They were able to successfully film the song that night.
He also shared a funny story regarding his signature outfit, the “bijli wala jacket” (also known as the electric jacket).
The lights on his jacket were operated by a wire that was connected to power at the time, demonstrating how primitive technology was.
The entire string of lights was wrapped around Bachchan’s body, and the wire that led from his leg to the main switchboard was plugged in.
“The moment the electricity flowed, I started dancing—not because I wanted to, but because I was getting electric shocks!” he added.

On the work front, Amitabh was last seen in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ alongside Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.
He will be next seen with Rajinikanth in their next project.
