On Saturday night, Aishwarya wowed fans and critics alike as she walked the red carpet in a Michael Cinco gown with peacock motif. Before she posed for the cameras, it was her moment with daughter Aaradhya who she playfully twirled. Aaradhya, always a sport, smiled for the cameras in a red dress.
Aishwarya’s Saturday outfit, designed by Dubai-based couturer Michael Cinco, was patterned with Swarovski crystals and French palettes. Ultra-violet, midnight blue, and red thread works added extra details to the gown. She completed her look with a pair of blingy earrings, shimmery purple eye-liner, middle-parted hair and red lips.
Aishwarya collaborated with Cinco for the second year in a row. She made a stunning appearance last year in a frosty blue ball gown by the designer. Aaradhya wore a red Gauri-Nanika princess dress.
Aishwarya, who recently made her debut on Instagram, shared various pictures and videos from her day one at the French Riviera on the social media platform. 2018 marks Aishwarya’s 17th year at the Cannes film festival and for her day appearance, the 44-year-old former Miss World picked a summery sequinned off-shoulder Manish Arora outfit.

Aishwarya has been visiting Cannes with Aaradhya since she was a baby. Last year, while attending the Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya told PTI Aaradhya is now accustomed to the ways of being a star kid: “Because she is travelling with me, meeting new people, seeing our world, I don’t have to sit her down and tell her what her mother does. She sees it, she is growing up with. She has now developed an ease (with media) which you all are seeing.”
Earlier this year, she told Vogue, “I spend all my time with Aaradhya, and I have one nanny, by choice. I read comments saying, ‘Ah, she must have an army of help’ and I understand the perception, but I choose this way, which means life is always busy.”
She also said that one of her most important life lesson to her daughter was: “B-positive is not just a blood group and that everything in life is a learning curve. That’s something I’m imparting to Aaradhya.”
