(Dan Tri) – Miss World 2000 – Indian beauty Priyanka Chopra (40 years old) has just revealed that her father had to install additional window bars in his daughter’s bedroom to protect her from “satellites”.

My father was very worried when I turned 16 and started having many boys chasing after me. He was so worried that he called a mechanic to install bars on my bedroom window after seeing boys following me home, some even climbing up to the balcony in front of my bedroom at night,” Priyanka Chopra revealed in a recent interview.

Priyanka Chopra’s father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, passed away from cancer in 2013. It was a big loss for Chopra: “I lost my biggest supporter in life. My father was always so excited when I achieved something, received another award or was invited to participate in a  new film project  . He loved to be there to see how I worked.

Chopra was born in Jamshedpur, India. Her parents were both doctors. She became Miss India and went on to win the highest crown at the Miss World pageant in 2000.

Currently, Priyanka Chopra has a relatively successful acting career in Hollywood, and she has also built a stable family life here. Her marriage to American singer Nick Jonas (30 years old) has gone through 5 years of attachment.

If the man is much older than his wife, why don’t people say anything and see no problem with it?”

Priyanka has now established herself in Hollywood, speaking about her success, Priyanka said part of the reason comes from her not being afraid of failure.

I love to learn, I’m not afraid of failure and so I’m not afraid to try new things. I’ve had many failures after making risky choices, and when I fail, all I have to do is dust myself off and move on, experimenting with other things. Failure is not the end of the world,” Priyanka said.
