Abhishek Bachchan makes first appearance amid divorce rumours with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, says ‘Gets very difficult to…’

The actor now attended the music launch of his upcoming film I Want To Talk, directed by Soojit Sircar. The actor said his potbelly wasn’t prosthetic but real.

While rumours of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s divorce have been grabbing the headlines for quite some time, the speculations garnered limelight after none of the Bachchan family members wished Ash on her birthday, which was on 1st November.

The actor now attended the music launch of his upcoming film I Want To Talk, directed by Soojit Sircar. The actor said his potbelly wasn’t prosthetic but real.

Commenting on his pot-bellied look in the film, Abhishek Bachchan humorously said, “Don’t ever put on weight for a film again. Trust me, at my age, it gets very difficult to lose it after a while.”

“And that is me. That isn’t any prosthetic,” added Bachchan.

Amid this, an old interview has surfaced online where she spoke about overcoming challenges with  Abhishek Bachchan.

“There’s a lot of adjustment, a lot of give and take. There will be agreements and disagreements. But it’s important to keep the communication going. That’s something I’ve always believed in,” Ash told Filmfare.

She continued, “Abhishek has been wonderful to respect that. Communication is extremely important in a relationship. Doesn’t it all start with friendship? What’s friendship all about? I’m not one of those who say, ‘Okay shut it for today and don’t take it to tomorrow.’ If it needs to go to tomorrow, then it’ll go to tomorrow. And if you can shut the chapter today, great! But neither fit into a rule book. There’s no finality in looking at each day. You have to be open-minded about how you share your time together. It also means respecting and being sensitive to your partner,” she added.

While none of the Bachchan family members wished Ash on her 51st birthday, an old tweet of Big B recently went viral on Reddit, where the megastar not only thanked fans for their warm wishes for her daughter-in-law but also shared glimpses into how the family celebrated the big day.

The tweet of Big B from 2010 read, “T172 -First things first … thank you all for wishing Aishwarya on her birthday !! Have passed it on to her.. she thanks all … love.”

Bachchan family and Bollywood shuns Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on her 51st birthday! Nobody from Bollywood, South film industry, the drugstore makeup brand she endorses, or media have wished her. Her brother and his family didn’t post a birthday wish for her.

Bachchan family put Bahurani Aishwarya on a pedestal for years. Amitabh’s day started and ended with Aishwarya. He would tweet about her, wrote about her in his blog, spoke about her in interviews.

Jaya and Shweta used to praise her. Abhishek supported her in everything she did. Aishwarya would accompany Amitabh to all events. Aishwarya was spotted more in public with Amitabh than with Abhishek.

Now Bachchans don’t even acknowledge her existence. They act like Aishwarya doesn’t exist. Something serious must have happened for such drastic change in behavior.

Recently, Simi Garewal dropped a comment on a video which criticised Amitabh Bachchan for ignoring his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Simi said: “You people don’t know ANYTHING. Stop it.”

No other in-laws in Bollywood have supported their daughter-in-law the way Bachchans supported Aishwarya.

Yesterday was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s birthday. No one from the film industry posted birthday wishes for her.

According to her fans, Ash is best friends with Preity Zinta, Tabu, and Sonali Bendre but these actresses didn’t wish Ash.

Her stan says Ash is popular in the South because they respect her and she’s much loved there but no one from South industry wished her.

Even the drugstore makeup brand she endorses didn’t post a birthday wish for her. It looks like everyone is maintaining a distance from Ash.

During a recent episode of “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, Amitabh Bachchan talked about the iconic song “Kajra Re” and referenced Abhishek and Rani Mukerji but completely omitted Aishwarya who danced in song. In another episode, Big B spoke about his grandkids Navya and Agastya (Shweta Bachchan’s children) but he did not mention Aishwarya Rai’s daughter Aaradhya.

Last year, Abhishek posted a birthday wish for Aishwarya at 11:30 pm but this year he didn’t bother.
