Rashmika Mandanna Shares Her Experience Meeting Salman Khan for the First Time

Rashmika Mandanna, the rising star of Indian cinema, recently opened up about her first encounter with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The actress, who will be seen alongside Salman in the upcoming action-packed movie Sikandar, shared how the actor’s warm and caring nature left a lasting impression on her.

During an interview, Rashmika recalled the very first day she was on the set of Sikandar. She revealed that she wasn’t feeling well at the time. However, Salman Khan’s immediate concern and care for her well-being broke the ice between them. “I remember the first day I was on set – I was really sick. Salman sir took such good care of me, and I think that was the immediate icebreaker,” Rashmika shared with a smile.

Sikandar, slated for release during Eid 2025, is already creating significant buzz among fans and the film industry. The movie promises to deliver intense action sequences, making it yet another trademark Salman Khan entertainer. Along with Salman and Rashmika, the film will also feature renowned actors like Kajal Aggarwal and Sharman Joshi.

Rashmika Mandanna, who has been riding high on the success of consecutive blockbuster films, described her opportunity to work with Salman Khan as a dream come true. “Working with Salman sir is like living a dream I never thought would come true. He is such a grounded and special person,” she expressed.

Recalling a particular moment from the shoot, Rashmika described how Salman’s compassionate side shone through. While filming a scene, Rashmika began feeling unwell. Salman, noticing her discomfort, didn’t hesitate to intervene. “The moment he realized I wasn’t feeling well, he immediately asked if I was okay. He instructed the crew to bring me warm water and healthy food. He made sure I was taken care of,” she recounted.

Rashmika praised Salman’s humility despite his superstar status. “He is one of the biggest superstars in the country, but he is incredibly humble and down-to-earth. His warmth and concern for others make him truly special,” she said.

Sikandar marks Rashmika’s first collaboration with Salman Khan. The movie, directed by AR Murugadoss of Ghajini fame, is expected to be an action extravaganza with powerful performances and high-octane sequences. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

The production of Sikandar is nearing completion, with approximately 90% of the shooting wrapped up. Salman Khan recently shot for a song in Hyderabad, further increasing excitement among fans eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the film.
