Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra has revealed her mental health was negatively affected after a doctor-prescribed nose job went wrong.

Appearing on The Howard Stern Show in Miami (USA) on May 2, Miss Priyanka Chopra opened up about her  botched  in the early 2000s that led to her being called “Plastic Chopra”

The actress, born in 1982, said that at that time, the doctor advised her to remove the polyps in her nasal cavity. However, the result was beyond her expectations.

Not only did the nose job negatively affect her appearance and mental health, it also had negative consequences for the livelihood of Miss World 2000.

According to Chopra, she was dropped from three different films. She feared that the botched plastic surgery would end her career in the entertainment industry prematurely.

Mrs. Jonas revealed that there were times when she did not want to leave home, but her late father and doctor, Mr. Ashok, encouraged her to go under the knife again to correct her mistakes.

The Quantico star is also grateful to Bollywood director Anil Sharma for giving her the chance to step in front of the camera again. She was originally offered the lead role, but her damaged nose meant she was relegated to a supporting role. Still, she appreciated the opportunity. said that while almost the whole world turned its back on her, Mr. Sharma encouraged her with the saying: “It’s just a small role but give it your all”.

This is not the first time the famous mother of one has touched on this topic. In her memoir Unfinished, the Indian beauty said that the botched surgery left her feeling devastated and hopeless.
