Actor Nitin Chauhaan, who appeared in ‘Crime Patrol’ and ‘Teera Yaar Hoon Mai’, passed away at the age of 35.

Nitin Chauhaan was initially from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and came to Mumbai with a dream to become an actor. However, his journey was not easy. He was last seen in Pushkar Pandit’s Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022. His co-stars Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh confirmed the actor’s demise through Instagram stories, though no further details have been shared yet. According to the police report, the cause of his passing is being suspected as suicide.

Television actor and model, Nitin Chauhaan made his television debut in UTV Bindass Dadagiri 2 in 2009, where he emerged as a winner. Three years later, in 2012 the actor-model was seen in Splitsvilla 5. Apart from this Nitin appeared in various TV shows including Crime Patrol and Tera Yaar Hoon Mai.

Nitin Chauhaan’s father will be bringing the former’s mortal remains to Delhi

As soon as the news of Nitin’s family was informed of his tragic demise, Nitin’s father left for Mumbai to bring his son’s remains back to Delhi.  In a conversation with The Times Of India, Kuldeep, a close friend of the actor, shared that Nitin’s family called him earlier in the morning of November 8, 2024, to inform them of his friend’s demise.

Kuldeep shared that Nitin’s family is now waiting for his mortal remains to be brought back. Sharing the details of travel he said that, Nitin’s father was supposed to reach Mumbai at 10 pm on November 7, 2024. They hope that he will be back in Delhi by 4-5 am on November 8, 2024. He added:
“We are with the family now, waiting for Nitin’s father, who is arriving in Mumbai at 10 pm to take his son’s remains back to Delhi. We hope he reaches here by 4-5 am.”

Nitin Chauhaan’s friend Kuldeep shares about the actor’s planned future trips

Kuldeep shared that he had plans to visit Khatu Shyam Ji’s temple next month with Nitin. He further shared how Nitin was always the designated driver during group trips. He added that Nitin always ensured that everyone was comfortable and created lasting memories. Kuldeep also expressed his regrets about not being there for his friend, Nitin when the latter was mentally and emotionally struggling. He shared:
“We were supposed to meet next month in Delhi and had planned a trip to Khatu Shyam Ji’s temple. This news is unbelievable. Last month, Nitin had made plans to visit Rajasthan, and he would frequently travel between Mumbai and Delhi. He was such an important part of our lives. Nitin was always the one who made sure we were comfortable during our trips.”

Nitin Chauhaan’s friend was unaware of the actor’s emotional struggle

According to Kuldeep, Nitin had not shared about his emotional struggles with him. He shared how he wishes Nitin would have called him before making such a decision. Kuldeep recalled how the two always shared everything and how he always invited them to Mumbai. He said:
“I wish he had called me before making this decision. I would have done anything to stop him. We shared everything with each other, and there were no financial problems. He was always the one inviting us to Mumbai, and we had great memories together. Now, all we have are those memories.”
